This booklet is an easy tool that is designed to sensitize and create awareness about Universal Health Care (UHC) in Kenya. The goal is to enhance the capacity of sex workers to actively participate in the UHC implementation process and benefit from it, accordingly.
The countries that have implemented UHC have shown improvements in various health indicators. In such countries: the life expectancy of it's citizens has increased resulting in a propotional mortality rate decrease. People have also gained more economic security. Kenyans stand a great chance to benefit from it if UHC becomes a reality.
