About Us

The Kenya Sex Workers Alliance (KESWA), legally registered as Key Affected Population, Health and Legal Rights Alliance, is an umbrella body for the sex workers led organisations in their diversities to progressively influence the intersectional needs of sex workers in Kenya. We were established in 2009, registered as a Non Governmental organisation in 2010, according to Kenyan lawa. KESWA has its head office in Nairobi, which houses it secretariate thar consists of six (6) staff members. Kenya,Tanzania and south Sudan sex workers leaders paid a courtesy call to their counterparts at Ladymermaid Uganda. This was aimed at learning about sex workers led programs in each country. This is a big part of capacity strengthening and community learning. Iron sharpens iron.
